You will receive the following to convert your own tapes : - 1 camcorder guaranteed to playback the tape format selected (model varies) - 1 USB capture device for Windows PC - includes cables, AC power adapter (no battery needed), AV cables - instructions for capturing video with several different software options - resulting video files that can be saved to hard drive, DVD, or uploaded to Youtube Returns accepted for any reason, we guarantee your tapes will play and convert. 8mm/Video8 option: only capable of playing 8mm and Video8. Hi8 option:
capable of playing Hi8, 8mm, and Video8. Digital8 option:
only capable of playing Digital8. Select "8mm Hi8 & Digital8" 
to receive an analog/digital camcorder that will play all 8mm formats, NOT miniDV. miniDV option: only capable of playing miniDV tapes, no 8mm support. Mac Users:
You will receive a camcorder and Thunderbolt or Firewire cables to import the tape with iMovie or Quicktime. Note: NTSC tapes recorded in USA only, no PAL support. See link for PAL camcorders. Other products:
